FOTONA 4D Facial Treatment®

The Fotona 4D® facial treatment is a revolutionary non-surgical procedure to address skin laxity, lines, wrinkles, loss of volume, and uneven tone & texture on the face.

How does it work?

The 4D treatment strengthens collagen and immediately lifts by collagen contraction. New Collagen production is also stimulated, resulting in tightness and increased elasticity of your skin. The synergistic laser treatments treat both the exterior of the face as well as the interior oral cavity to produce results from both inside and out. The procedure provides both immediate and ongoing results.

The Fotona 4D Treatment lifts, tightens, plumps, improves skin texture, and provides wrinkle reduction on the skin with the use of 4 unique laser modes: SMOOTH®, FRAC3®, PIANO® and SupErficial™.

The SMOOTH mode is conducted on the inside of the oral cavity. This non-ablative laser provides a controlled and gentle “bulk-heating” to stimulate collagen contraction as well as the stimulation of new collagen fibers. The primary target during this step are the nasolabial folds, which get a nice plumping effect from the inside out, similar to a filler.

The FRAC3 Mode uses a fractional beam that targets deeper imperfections to restore a youthful texture and tone to the skin.

The PIANO Mode is a safe and fast bulk tissue heating from the outside in by concentrating energy delivery subcutaneously. The bulk heating is used to tighten the skin.

The SupErficial Mode is used lastly to improve the appearance of the skin and reduce imperfections with an extremely controlled light peel. This give the skin a smoother pearl finish.

Fotona 4D Recovery:

There is no downtime and you can continue your daily activities right after treatment. There may be mild redness and swelling for only a day or two, so you may wish to consider this a “social downtime” procedure.The Fotona 4D

Fotona Tight Sculpting™

 

TightSculpting can be conducted virtually anywhere on the body where tighter, smoother skin is desired. TightSculpting delivers clinically-proven results without having to undergo extensive liposuction or surgery.

How does it work?

TightSculpt features dual-wavelength laser technology for skin tightening, cellulite reduction, and non-surgical body contouring.

The first wavelength is an nd:YAG that send deep dermal heating underneath the skin. When emitted into the skin, the nd:YAG wavelength converts to heat, safely warming and shrinking fatty tissues to smooth out the appearance of cellulite. The heating process also causes underlying collagen fibers to coagulate, tightening the skin.

The second wavelength is a gentle fractionated er:YAG that causes an immediate contraction and tightening of the skin. By combining both of these wavelengths the TightLase procedure is able to achieve skin tightening results previously only achieved with surgery.

Recovery:

TightSculpt requires virtually no downtime. The treated area may feel like a sunburn and some redness can appear. This will usually subside the following day.

Laser treatment of Active Acne reduces acne inflammation by photoselective absorption and heating
of overactive sebaceous glands. The power of an Nd:YAG laser is used to accelerate the healing process and to
reduce the possibility of developing new acne inflammation.
Laser treatment of Acne Scars is based on the precise and gentle skin resurfacing procedure where the Er:YAG laser is absorbed by the top micro-layers of the skin to vaporize scarred skin and stimulate the production of new collagen in the dermis.
How does it work?
1. Active acne: A high power Nd:YAG laser is used to penetrate the skin deep enough to thermally and selectively
destroy large sebaceous glands.
2. Acne scars: The Er:YAG laser is used to remove micron-thin layers of skin so that new skin can form in
its place. Unlike chemical peels and dermabrasion, laser resurfacing allows to be easily controlled. The laser gently
vaporizes the acne-scarred surface of the skin so that undamaged skin below is revealed.

What is Laser Spot Removal? Lasers are a simple, fast, effective and safe tool for removing a wide variety of benign pigmented lesions, such as freckles, age spots, birthmarks, moles, certain vascular lesions, ephelides, melasma, seborrheic and actinic keratoses. Spot removal is quick, sutureless, has a rapid healing time and produces excellent results. It is suitable for all ethnic skin types. For example, Asian skin is highly sensitive

to heat and often hyper-pigmentation can result from using the wrong laser sources or as a result of poor
administration of the laser treatment. The Nd:YAG or KTP Nd:YAG laser sources, on the other hand, have been
generating desirable treatment results to all ethnic skin types
How does it work? Laser removal of spots works by destroying the pigment in the skin without the need for excision. This process in completed in 3 simple steps:
Step 1 – LIGHT ABSORPTION:
The laser produces short nanosecond pulses of intense light that pass harmlessly through the top layers of the
skin to be selectively absorbed by the melanin pigment in the lesion.
Step 2 – PIGMENT BREAK-UP:
The laser light is transformed into photoacoustic waves which mechanically break up the melanin pigment into smaller particles.
Step 3 – PIGMENT REMOVAL:
These particles are then removed by the body’s own immune system, as the skin’s macro-phages clear the excess pigment from the area.
